After a few days of feeling under the weather, I decided
we’d take a drive out to Caen and checked out the Caen Memorial Museum.
The Caen Memorial Museum is mainly focused on WWII, the lead
up to it, the freeing of Normandy by the Allies and then the post-war era and
the cold war. It was a huge museum and
we spent hours walking through it. It
had a number of stories of individuals and gave an interesting perspective of
the war. But, it was almost too much to take in and by the time we got through
the portion of the museum related to the war we were exhausted and skipped much
of the cold war exhibits.
